I haven't had a chance to post much on here recently, so I thought it was about time that I stopped by to say hi and talk a load of rubbish about some what I've been up to. I haven't had a chance to post much on here recently, so I thought it was about time that I stopped by to say hi and talk a load of rubbish about some what I've been up to.On Monday night, I had the pleasure of going to watch one of my favourite bands and was introduced to some new kick arse music. This band being The Willdhearts, and the new kick arse music coming courtesy of Black Spiders. The Wildhearts played their new album ¡Chutzpah! in its entirety for the first half of their set, then came back and blasted out some classics. I must say that even though I love The Wildhearts, I don't think that the new album translates as well live as the older material, but having said that, the tracks that did sound awesome were the ones that I didn't think would have, the title track was particularly meaty. Still, I loved every second of their set.
Black Spiders were awesome! They sounded like a dirty rock n roll band with the heaviness of Corrosion of Conformity, great riffs and vocals, and the craziest drummer I've ever seen. Great guys too. Staying with music, I've decided to customise my bass. I'm not going overboard this time or plastering stickers all over it. I've just been inspired by Michael Poulsen's SG. I'll post up the pics when I get the work done.
Away from music, I've been having a little fun. I've got myself a Mini Moto for some scaled down high speed fun. The bike's running well, so hopefully I'll be able to get it to a track in the next few weeks for a proper run. It seems like I've been doing a lot of mechanical stuff lately, replaced the clutch on my car a few weeks ago, worked on 2 Mini Motos. Hey, it's all good fun.
