LiTTLE LONDON

In the tradition of British guitar bands that have always favoured musical substance over superficial style, Portsmouth's Little London are clearing a path with their juggernaut of rock and roll.
Little London are currently working on their first full length release. Due out in early 2010, these tracks of rock, riffs, and raucous melody are already sounding like hits of the summer, even in demo form. Little London are poised to release the album on iTunes and CD with an accompanying single, video, and tour also in preparation.
Little London were formed in 2004 by front man Dev Crawford, and was soon joined by Matt Grosvenor on drums. In 2007, guitarist Sam Carter-Brazier and bassist Darren Lines joined the fray, to complete the definitive Little London line-up.
Little London are all about the live show. They know from years of gig going that the best bands go balls-out to blast a crowd away with energy, conviction and a healthy sense of humour. They have learned from observing the masters, playing high-profile support slots with acts such as Turbonegro and The Datsuns, McQueen, Electric Eel Shock, and Towers of London, plus a coveted sets at Sonisphere 2009 and the 2006 Isle of Wight festivals. They have shown they have the guts and power to become masters in their own right.
Imagine The Wildhearts, but heavier; imagine Therapy?, but more fun; imagine The Almighty, but less stuck up. Imagine straight-up metal-tinged rock music: guitars that crunch and soar; bass that punches hard; drums that drive like a trucker on overtime. Now garnish with strong vocals, delivering lyrics about regrets, hangovers and the highs and lows of life on the seamy side, without once resorting to whining. Can you picture that? Good - but you're still not even close. Little London are the sound of your tenth J.D. and coke of the night, they have little patience with trends. There's no sitting around, burning incense and looking for the new sound. They are bored by purist attitudes to rock music, instead lauding the raucous live experience as the true expression of what they do.
Press Snippets
The Fly Mag:
"A band who ooze charisma. Seeping from every pore is a smugness that comes not from thinking, but from knowing they're good"
Portsmouth News:
"Little London take to the stage. They have all the hip people in to see them tonight and they are not disappointed as they treat us to a truly stunning set. The girls love them, the boys think they're cool and if they continue to play like this, we should see the mainstream press herald them as rock gods."
"Little London basically treated this gig like their most important gig ever, which is presumably what they do everytime they play and that really is no bad thing..."
"Little London is the type of band that could knock you dead with the whiff of JD & coke from 50 yards, devilishly handsome and with a nice line in sleaze driven crunching rock"
